About the Plywood Cut Calculator
This browser-based tool helps woodworkers and DIY builders arrange rectangular cut lists onto standard 4x8 sheet goods efficiently.
Tool Purpose
The calculator is built for English-speaking DIY users who already have known rectangular part dimensions and want to visualize material layouts without manual graph paper sketches.
Current Capabilities
It supports inch decimals and binary fractions down to 1/64, custom blade kerf, edge trim, length direction locks, CSV or TSV pasting, and all-sheet SVG previews for up to 20 sheets and 100 pieces per run.
Design Scope
Calculations execute entirely in the browser without accounts, payments, or cloud storage. The tool does not produce automated cutting sequences, structural load engineering, or multi-thickness projects.
